Projects 

The maps here consist of the work I have done in attending Front Range Community College and Univeristy of Colorado Denver. My work consists of working with FOSS software such as Qgis and CartoDB. I am also versed in working with Mapbox and ArcGIS 10.3. 

 

Black Lives Matter Chapters:  This map was created after I attended the Denver Marade for MLK Day. The goal of the map was to showcase each of the chapters while also showing the power of the movement across the county. As  you click on each yellow points on the map you will see each chapter name for that location.

 

Colorado Median Income: This map was my first attempt at doing a spatial join, Using cenus tracts and data from the American Community Servey , which consisted of Median Income for the state of CO. This map showcases the range of median incomes across the state. 

 

Mi Casa Resource Center-Business: Mi Casa is a Denver based non profit, that seeks to support low income families by providing servies in three program areas; Career , Business and Youth and Family. This map, showcases business data, looks at how many particapants are located in a given zipcode  within Denver and the surrounding towns.
